She is passionate about educating her clients on the resiliency of the body and the myriad of ways that they can tap into their healing potential. She strives to empower her clients to not only get well but to stay well, providing knowledge and tools that will stay with them for life.
Samantha has been a registered nurse since 2013 and has worked as an acute care nurse in hospitals for much of her career. Many times she was amazed by the marvels of modern medicine but she also knew in her heart that there had to be a more holistic solution for much of the disease that we face today. In her own health journey, she found natural ways of healing that didn't impede and damper her body's natural processes. She later discovered Functional Medicine (aka Root Cause Medicine) and fell in love! She completed the Level 1 Functional Medicine semester program at The School of Applied Functional Medicine in 2021. She became a Board Certified Nurse Coach in 2022 through the Integrative Nurse Coach Academy. Now, she has returned to The School of Applied Functional Medicine for the second and final Level and once completed will become AFMC certified.
Samantha believes that it is her purpose to show her community that they are more capable of healing their bodies’ than they may know; that many chronic diseases are preventable and even reversible through lifestyle change. She is here to guide others to take control of their health; to take their power back. And to reveal to them that when the body is given the right external and internal environments, it will inevitably thrive.
